As you gaze out your living room window (through the pines), the cattle ranch of MacGregor Ranch lies beneath the Rocky Mountain National Parks, Lumpy Ridge. This working cattle ranch was founded in 1873 by Alexander and Clara MacGregor.
Today, this working cattle ranch is also an educational center. The Muriel L. MacGregor trust fund was organized in 1978 and offers an insight to the history of Estes Valley.
The Estes Valley and the Rocky Mountain National Park offer a variety of outdoor activities. No matter your choice, you will have a seasonal outdoor heated pool to enjoy or relax and soothe those muscles in the two person jetted tub in the master bath of
your vacation rental condo.
Elk, fox, marmot, bobcat, hummingbirds and bears have all been seen on the sloping mountain grounds of Black Canyon Inn.
